| Embden Pond is a beautiful spring
fed lake. The lake has 3 natural springs and two streams that flow into
the lake. With all the fresh water pouring into the lake it flushes
itself out 3 times a year, leading Embden to be one of the cleanest
lakes in Maine. In 2007 you could clearly see 30ft down!
